2010 Miss Florida Forestry State Pageant

We are the official photographers for the

Miss Florida Forestry State Pageant.

Pageant Photo Information:

We will be photographing all contestants throughout pageant weekend.  We will be attending all rehearsals, events, formal ball, modeling competition, pageant competition and crowning. 

POSED PHOTOS:  We will have our portable studio set up during the pageant.  All contestants are invited to the studio and have their posed photos taken in their opening number outfit and gown.   There is no fee and no obligation to purchase photos in order to use the studio.

NEW QUEENS: Newly crowned queens are to have their formal Queen's photo taken at the studio immediately after the pageant.  There will be a group photo, individual photos and family photos taken.  Please be prompt to the studio immediately following the pageant.

VIEWING PHOTOS:  We will have a monitor set up during the formal ball and pageant and will show a slide show of all photos taken during the weekend. Photos will also be posted on our website for easy viewing and ordering.

ORDERING PHOTOS:  You can order your photos during pageant weekend, after the pageant on our website or SAVE 25% and pre-order your photo package or photo CD on line before July 10th. 

CAMERAS/VIDEO CAMERAS:  It is a Forestry rule that NO cameras are allowed inside the auditorium during the pageant.  This includes the dressing rooms, lobby, hallways and auditorium.  Your contestant may be disqualified.  Staff members will be watching the audience for cameras so, please inform all family members and friends of this rule.  Cameras are allowed at the formal ball.

We will be everywhere with our cameras to capture all of the excitement, drama, and fun of pageant weekend!

'SUPERMODEL WITH STYLE' COMPETITION:

The 2009 "Supermodel with Style" Queen went on to the National Forestry Pageant

and won the "US National Forestry Little Miss " title!

Contestants will model 3 outfits, in this order:

1. Sporty/Casual Outfit

2. Dressy Outfit (not pageantry)

3. Plain white shirt with decorated jeans

Jeans are to be decorated with the contestant's personality in mind.  You can accessorize the outfit, but the jeans are to be the main focal point.

Here are some examples of the decorated jeans:

Contestants will be judged on:

*  Modeling  -  we are looking for runway models, not pageant modeling nor Pro-Am routines

*  Photogenic and ease in front of camera

*  Choice of outfits - do the outfits fit the categories above?  Use of outfit during modeling, using accessories, jeans decorations etc...

*  Following Directions  -  following the pattern and posing for the photographers

*  Total Presentation

*  Overall Model Potential

CONTESTANTS MUST MODEL/COMPETE IN ALL THREE OUTFITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE OVERALL "SUPERMODEL WITH STYLE" TITLE.

Awards:

Best Decorated Jeans

Each age division will have an Overall Age Division winner

Overall "Supermodel with Style" winner selected from all contestants

Model Pattern

Modeling Pattern will be a standard back T with 5 posing stops.  Contestants will do 2 model poses at each stop for the photographers.  The photographers are the judges. There will be time at the first rehearsal to go over the pattern.
